You can't redesign an anime wuff pilot without redesigning his giant... anime robot like thing too ^^
With this redesign i wanted to try a different style and a different kind of machine, making it look less "knight-ish" and more "living" like, the result is a design having many common points with close quarter combat anime mechs such as "Rai-Oh"/"Dai-Rai-Oh" or "Yaldabaoth"/"Valefor" and theyr respective "Aphoteosized" versions.
The different shape, more humanized and "muscly" like is indeed typical of anime mechs and pilots that rely on martial arts and punches/kicks based skills rather than ranged attacks or "chop-chop" stiles of fighting, which is something i admire because it gives a better sense of power to both the machine and the character driving it ("I don't need a weapon, my bare hands will suffice").
Speaking of skills, this Aperion retains the same skills of all the previous versions (Willpower fueled performance and mind powered dimensional materializator) with an increased mobility, speed, and an all new Overdrive mode that doesen't require a redesign" but can be shown just by "opening" some spots of the giant (Those who followed the stream remember the red lines in the concept designs maybe).
